SUBANG JAYA - Proton Holdings Bhd. (Proton) mengumumkan untuk memanggil semula 94,577 unit kenderaannya mulai hari ini bagi menukar hos penyejuk minyak yang dikenal pasti mungkin mengalami kerosakan selepas perbatuan sebanyak 40,000 kilometer.

Latihan itu membabitkan model Exora, Preve dan Suprima dan dijangka selesai dalam tempoh enam bulan.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Datuk Harith Abdullah berkata, langkah tersebut adalah demi menjaga keselamatan pelanggan dan penumpang kenderaan Proton. - K! ONLINE

Hahaha... Proton adalah contoh produk yang gagal dan cacat .... Tak heranlah Proton hanya mampu menjual 147 unit kereta baru di Indonesia tahun 2015 lalu  (dari 1.1 juta unit kereta baru yang terjual)   ...

i penah hantar naza bestari lepas dpt

tapi bila i hantar keta, dorang cuma jawab.

Proton has announced that it will be recalling some 94,577 vehicles in Malaysia over a faulty CFE oil cooler hose. The car maker said that once the hose has degraded to a certain point, usually around the 40,000 km mark, it has been known to burst in affected vehicles.

The models affected include CFE-powered variants of the [color=#9900 !important]Proton Exora (59,663 units), [color=#9900 !important]Preve (28,642 units) and the [color=#9900 !important]Suprima S (6,290 units). Proton has admitted that a mistake was made when selecting the right material for the oil cooler hose.

The issue is said to occur when the lubricant in the rubber hose turns acidic (corrosive) and the hose itself is subjected to high-temperatures. Proton is considering to replace the faulty rubber hose with a metal unit instead, and claimed that a permanent fix is expected to be ready by the end of the month.

For owners of affected vehicles still covered by their [color=#9900 !important]warranty, Proton says that the fix will come at no cost to them. For owners of affected vehicles that are no longer covered by the warranty, Proton says that it will only perform the fix for free should your recommended service intervals be adhered to.

Recalls are set to begin by the end of the month, with the national car maker focusing first on vehicles nearest to the 40,000 km mark – being the ones most likely to have their hoses blown out.

pelik juga sebab ia terjadi hanya 40k km..kalau pemanduan normal lebih kurang 2 tahun sahaja selepas tarikh pembelian..sebelum produce tak test enjin & komponen sehingga maksimum ke?

ni kes nak cut cost la nihhh..common sense je pun...rubber hose + lubricant + hi temp. is not a good idea

2bln sekali bru jln jauh tu pun takat melaka ja..

Waranti tamat bln 7 ni..
Sbb Tak jln Sgt so Aku pun ada delay Dia punya schedule utk servise..
