[MERGED]Folic Acid untuk bantu dapat baby?

I tengah trying for my second baby, dah setahun tapi tak de rezeki lagi. Kawan I, a pharmacist ada mentioned that dia ada ramai customers yang beli folic acid kat kedai dia untuk bantu dapat baby and ramai juga selepas beberapa bulan makan folic acid terus pregnant, even yang lama tak dapat baby lepas beberapa bulan ( 3- 6 bulan) makan folic acid terus dapat pregnant.
Ada sapa-sapa yang ada pengalaman yang sama ke?

Errrr....folic acid bukan ubat yang secara khususnya utk senang dapat anak....
TETAPI.....tujuan ambil folic acid adalah utk tambah darah dan utk mengelakkan fetal abnormality (kecacatan janin) seperti spina bifida atau cacat saraf tunjang.
Bila berlaku kecacatan kepaa janin......... kebarangkalian utk gugur adalah tinggi...
So ... folic acid bagus utk mereka yg selalu keguguran (recurrent miscarriage) ......
Anyway...it's a good vitamin dan selamat di ambil oleh sesiapa sahaja.......tapi silalah berjumpa dengan doktor anda utk konsultasi dan pemeriksaan lanjut. |

folic acid nih mcm sediakan payung sebelum ujan tul tak cak...kirenyer kalo plan nak conceive within 3mo start telan nih spy bdn dpt top up folic acid n ready to receive a baby...br ler aku igt lamanyer aku tak telan vitamin.... |

Emmmm......betul....cuma nak kena faham bahawa folic acid bukan utk senang mengandung tapi lebih kepada prevention fetal defect that can lead to miscarriage.... |

I think so too, but ini based on what my friend's customers' testimonies. My friend sendiripun tak pasti what is the real mechanisms. But I also read somewhere in the forum yang mentioned that their gynae also suggested folic acid. I think probably folic acid help to produce good and healthy eggs, so that fertilization rate is increased and the embryo survival rate also increased.
So my friend suggested try for 3 months and if no sucess juga, see specialist. |

yang i tahu.. vitamin E if deficient (kekurangan) akan menyebabkan mandul only in rats.. tak cukup study done in humans yet.. |

but better be careful of the docs who simply offer to prescribe u clomid... I dah kena, .. ada satu doc ni , w/out proper consultation, terus je offer nak bagi kat I, plus he's just a GP, bukan O&G doc. I tak ambil, tapi one of my less-informed friend ambik... she actually takde infertility problems pun... she got pregnant but have to terminated it coz it's in the fallopian tube.. I'm not saying coz of clomid she got this miscarriage but w/out proper consultation you might end up doing it improperly. best bet is to go to O&G.
