Hi everybody..

Ada tak sesiapa tau pasal injection LUCRIN? maybe ada yang pernah ambil .. saya baru ada ambil smlm.. utk tahan period.. ada kesan sampingan tak ? tolong ye.. mekasihh

kalau ambil sekali je takde lah kesan sampingan yg bahaya...cuma kadang2 rasa loya, debar2, susah tido, anxiety, nafsu sex bertambah.

LUCRIN DEPOT is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring gonadotropin releasing hormone.

LUCRIN DEPOT is used to block the secretion of hormones and can be used in the following conditions:

Prostate Cancer
Endometriosis
Uterine Fibroids

LUCRIN DEPOT 3.75mg only
Central Precocious Puberty in children.

Your doctor may have prescribed LUCRIN DEPOT for another purpose. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about why LUCRIN DEPOT has been prescribed for you.

LUCRIN DEPOT is available only with a doctor's prescription.

LUCRIN DEPOT is not addictive.

Symptoms of an allergic reaction may include:

shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty in breathing
swelling of the face, lips, tongue or other parts of the body
rash, itching or hives on the skin

Bone Density: LUCRIN DEPOT reduces the level of hormones required to maintain bone strength. This increases the risk of a reduction in bone density. This effect may only be partly reversed after therapy is stopped.

Particular care should be taken if you:

Have a family history of osteoporosis
Are of slight build
Are a heavy smoker
Have a low calcium intake
Have menstrual disturbances
Are immobile
Are taking corticosteroid medication

Things you must do
When LUCRIN DEPOT is first started, there may be a temporary increase in some hormones. This may cause an increase in pain or other symptoms in the first weeks. If this happens see your doctor.

If symptoms include difficulty with urinating, a feeling of weakness or a numbness of the lower limbs or heavy vaginal bleeding, you should notify your doctor immediately.

These symptoms usually only happen with the first treatment with LUCRIN DEPOT you should not experience them with future treatments.

Be sure to keep all your doctor's appointments so your progress can be checked.

Your doctor may want to check your blood pressure and do some blood tests from time to time to check on your progress.

Tell any other doctors, dentists and pharmacists who are treating you that you are being given LUCRIN DEPOT.

If you are about to be started on any new medicine, tell your doctor, dentist or pharmacist that you are being given LUCRIN DEPOT.

If you do not feel well or your condition worsens, tell your doctor.

Things to be careful of
Be careful driving or operating machinery until you know how LUCRIN DEPOTaffects you.

Make sure you know how you react to LUCRIN DEPOT before you drive a car, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous if you are dizzy or light-headed. If this occurs do not drive.

If LUCRIN DEPOT makes you feel dizzy or light-headed, be careful when getting up from a sitting or lying position. These are signs of low blood pressure.

Tell your doctor if you notice any of the following and they worry you:

pain, swelling or redness at the injection site
cough
unusual tiredness or weakness
tiredness sleepiness or drowsiness
difficulty sleeping
mild muscle, back or joint pain
changes in testicular size
change in your sexual drive
inability to get or maintain an erection
sweating and body odour
hot flushes
general pain
nausea/vomiting
buzzing, hissing, whistling, ringing or other persistent noise in the ears
mild skin problems such as rash, itching, hives, dry skin or acne
headache
dizziness or light-headedness
diarrhoea
constipation
Dryness of the vagina
Breast changes
Insomnia
Mood swings
Nervousness
Change in weight
Joint disorder
Decreased libido
Depression
Shortness of breath
General pain
Tell your doctor as soon as possible if you notice any of the following:

swelling in limbs
problems with your eyesight
difficulty breathing
numbness or tingling of hands or feet
blood in your urine
difficulty or pain when passing urine
changes in breast size
Tell your doctor immediately or go to casualty at your nearest hospital if any of the following happen:

swelling to the face, lips, mouth, throat or neck which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing or sudden collapse
unsteadiness when walking

saya start cucuk lucrin (sbg rawatan endometriosis lepas operation selama 3 kali/sebulan sekali) 20hb april 2007, pas 2 minggu kuo darah cam period selama 11 hari. doctor kata itu bukan period tapi balance endo tu.

20hb mei cucuk lagi, 2 minggu kemudian kuo lagi cam period tuh selama 9 hari (i assume bukan period jugak la sbb lucrin is supposed to stop period tu kan).

20hb jun cucuk lagi (last punya). pastu 2 minggu kemudian kuo gak darah tapi secalit je. sikit sangat bercampur dengan lendir (maybe keputihan).

itu la last darah tu kuo. stast bulan julai saya dh tak amik suntikan tu dah. tapi persoalan saya kenapa sampai sekarang saya tak period lagi (last skali yg bulan jun tu).

period memang stop terus ke kalo amik lucrin tu? so camne saya nak concieve kalo peod xde? ke saya kena mkn ubat utk kuokan peod?

tolong yer enibadi kat sini.

hehe..apsal terbalik...aku rs aku dah kine libidoooo...tp as aku guna for 2 months nikh side effects tidak le seteruk contraceptives...lain org lain rs kots..

...kalau your last jab was in june...then july u wont have your menses...when your menses will come back is very subjective...different pple respond differently...

...kalau ada apa2 queries...bawak bincang ngan your gynae...

...zoladex and decapeptyl is a monthly dose injection...

...lucrin comes in 2 preparation...the monthly dose which is 3.75mg kalau tak silap aku...dan the 3monthly dose which is 11.25mg...

...the 3monthly dose is getting very popular now cos it can last for 3 months...tak payah nak kena jap pt every month...

....decision tuk kasi gnrh yang mana satu nie terserah pada gynae yang merawat ko...

...aku paling suka lucrin 3 monthly....paling tak suka zoladex...bukannya pasal zoladex tak bagus ke apa...tapi...jarum nak cucuk tu besar giler...kalau korang tengok bley pengsan...

zoladex pun ada 3 mth dose gak ....

tapi mmg pun jarum dia besar

bgs tuh 3 bln skali...senang keje..tatau plak hakuu..leceh tul nak gi nunggu gynae berejam...jez nak cucuks jek...betul tuh..haku ngk jarum yg 3.75 aku dah sram..apatah lgk ler yg tiggi lagiks...

lucrin nih fungsi dia nak turunkan paras hormon kita ke tahap pra monopouse.....utk org yg buat IVF doc akan bg injection lucrin juga

lepas je opt cyst dr jab lucrin kat girly for 6 mths and will end in Dec. mmg utk stopkan piod so that hormon akan OK semula. plus girly pon ada endo grade 4. dr kata mmg susah utk conceive lagi. anybody yg ada xperience endo grade 4 ni bagilah advise... nt year. if dah stop jab. takut teruk lagi

Saya baru 18hr selepas 1jab Lucrin..effect panas bile malam memang teruk...sampaikan tido kt kerusi ruang tamu...tempat inject tu pun macam membengkak & sakit bile disentuh..FYI saya baru lepas operate endo..so double pain..& today sakit bahagian kanan...antara perut & luka operation..da makan pronstan & ubat angin..still ada sakit..if berterusan malam ni kena straight to hospitalla jawabnya
