The Khazanah Scholarship Awards, a premierscholarship programme sponsored by Yayasan Khazanah, is offeringscholarships to applicants who are planning to pursue, or currentlypursuing, their undergraduate or post-graduate studies in premieruniversities abroad.
                     We invite Malaysians with excellenttrack record in academic and extra curricular activities to apply forthe 2007 scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate outstandingintellectual ability, scholastic achievements and proven records ofleadership skills in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities.
                     Sponsorship will be offered to candidates to undertake studies in premier universities in any of the disciplines below:

Business: Economics, Finance, Investment, Law, Actuarial Science
Bio-medicalSciences: Bio-chemistry, Food Technology, Bio-technology,Bio-engineering, Molecular Biology, Genomics and Bio-informatics
Engineering: Electronics, Micro-electronics, Nano-technology, Materials Science

                     Other related courses would also be considered.
                                             UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES                      A. FOUNDATION STUDIES                      Opento eligible candidates to pursue foundation studies and upon successfulcompletion, to continue at the undergraduate level at premieruniversities in the United Kingdom or the United States.

Who can apply?

Malaysian citizens
Passed the 2006 SPM examination with a minimum of 8A1抯
Strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular activities
Not exceeding 19 years of age as at 1 January 2007

                     B. UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES                         Opento eligible candidates who have obtained admission to pursueundergraduate study at premier universities in the United Kingdom orthe United States.
                     Students who are currently pursuingundergraduate studies in their first or second year in premieruniversities in the United Kingdom or the United States are alsoinvited to apply.

Who can apply?

Malaysian citizens
Applicants must have consistent and outstanding academic records in the one of the following:
- A-levels: obtained a minimum of 3As and 1B
- Foundation Studies: minimum 3.75 CGPA
- Bachelor抯 Degree: minimum 3.5 CGPA
Strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular activities
Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English

Who can apply?

Malaysian citizens
Not exceeding 35 years of age as at 1 July 2007
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of second class upper (Hons) or equivalent from Malaysian or foreign universities
Strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities
Passed SPM with credits in Bahasa Melayu and English

                                                D. PhD                      Opento eligible candidates who have obtained admission to pursue doctoralstudies at premier universities in the United Kingdom or the UnitedStates. Students who are currently pursuing doctoral studies in theirfirst or second year at premier universities in the United Kingdom orthe United States are also invited to apply.
