Do we need supplements?

This is a very controversial subject. There are a lot of arguments over this. My personal opinion is YES.
First, let's take a look at our own body. Our body is a very complex structure. Our body need more than 100 nutrients to function at optimum. Our body needs 70 over minerals, about 15 or 16 vitamins, 22 amino acids (8 are essential), enzymes and essential fatty acids.

You may say I am getting a balanced diet which consists of meat, grains, plenty of vegetables and fruits. I don't need to take supplements. Secondly, let's take a look at food that we eat. Most of the commercial farm animals are fed with growth drugs. They are also kept in enclosure meaning the animals are lacking in exercise. The meat would not be premium quality. The meat is lower in protein content compare with free range farm animals. Commercial meat is also intoxicated with drugs such as anti biotic and growth drug.

Let's us move to the plantation farm. Plants can manufacture vitamins but not minerals. Plants get minerals from the soil. Heavy commercial farming depletes minerals from the soil. Therefore, our fruits and vegetables are devoid of minerals that our body needs. And then come to transportation and storage of fruits and vegetables. Fruits and veges will lose their nutrients contents upon storage. According to a researcher, he tested oranges of vitamin C which were just plucked from the trees. He tested them again when the oranges reached the supermarket. Shockingly, most of the oranges had lost the vitamin C content.

Another thing is the plants are also contaminated by pesticides and insecticides. We are eating toxins every day!
That is why supplementation is necessary to provide what our body is lacking and to detox the toxins that we put in everyday. Optimum nutrition is a way to optimum health.

Ya, perlu supplement

Semua org perlu mengambil makanan tambahan atau food supplements. Sebabnya mudah.....

MAKANAN HARIAN ANDA TIDAK MEMBERI CUKUP VITAMIN & MINERAL.

badan memerlukan cukup vitamin & mineral untuk berfungsi secara optimum. Fungsi-fungsi ini adalah termasuk fungsi pertahanan badan. Jika askar pertahanan yg dihasilkan dari sumber makanan yg tidak mencukupi, maka lemah lah askar tersebut. Sedangkan anasir yg menceroboh badan kita semakin hari semakin hebat.

Juga perlu diingat diluar sana ada berbagai produk yg menjanjikan berbagai kebaikkan. Tetapi jadilah pengguna bijak, gunakan produk yang terbukti berkesan dari kajian klinikal dan ujian saintifik. Jangan hanya percaya pada testimoni.

Ramai juga yg berpendapat makanan tambahan adalah mahal. Tetapi sebenarnya kos rawatan apabila anda sakit adalah lebih mahal. Beruntunglah sesiapa yg ada perlindungan insuran, tetapi siapa yg sanggup menempuh penderitaan dan kepayahan.

Pada saya yg pernah duduk dihospital walaupun hanya sehari amat MEMBOSANKAN.

just nak share ... supplement yg i ambil

1) Calcium - sbb pernah buat bone scan, result menunjukkan dah masuk early estroporasis
2) Omega-3 - sbb kolestrol at upper border tapi belum masuk kategori high kolestrol
4) Licitin - sbb kolestrol dan jugak nak reduce berat badan
5) Glucosamine sulfate - sbb ada sakit sendi lutut tapi still boleh jalan, cuma kalau duduk bersimpuh lama macam masa sembahyang ada sakit
6) Multivitamin - bila rasa perlu ambil


Selepas ambil benda2 nih pergi cek kolestrol & bone scan memang ada improvement.

Saya percaya penyakit2 i nih boleh improve kalau control makan & makan makanan seimbang. tapi i ni jenis kalau boleh nak enjoy makan... I suka makan sea food terutama ketam & udang, so I ambil supplement.

sbb nak enjoy makan tapi nak kesihatan yg baik I terpaksa belanja duit untuk perkara

1) Belanja untuk makanan...
2) belanja beli supplement untuk memgurangkan kesan makan makanan tak seimbang
3) belanja buat medical checkup - dua tahun sekali

dengan mengubah gaya hidup dengan  izin Allah badan akan sihat....lihat saja benda yang kita makan...boleh di katakan terlalu bykmenggunakan racun....mcm sayur-sayuran yg kita beli ..boleh dikatakan kandungan racun melebihi dari sepatutnya.....benda yang neutral payah nak cari.....
