Kevin Keegan is rumoured to have resigned from his Newcastle job after showdown talks with the club's directors on Monday.
Markets on the first Premier League boss toleave his post this season have been withdrawn by many bookies afterKeegan's odds tumbled.
Sky Bet's Dale Tempest said: "The rumour mill in the north-east is working overtime and the money has followed accordingly.
"The transfer deadline was simply a disaster for Newcastle, withno significant purchases, and we wait to see what Keegan's responseis."
