I used to hate mac, but purely bcos I didn't know how to use it. but now i love mac.. no virus, very organized.. they say.. once you go mac.. you never go back! ;)

untuk basic system anpa server runs+GUI, 486 16MB ram dah boleh, cma quite slow la..

yes mmg boleh..

tapi jgn salah faham, Linux/BSD minimum mmg boleh run kat 486+16MB RAM ( 8MB pun boleh tp too minimal ).. tapi tanpa GUI dan aplikasi2 berat dan sedikit merepek untuk spec seperti itu.. so boleh la run mcm firewall/email MTA basics etc.. untuk aplikasi berat2 sikit mcm MySQL etc carikle spec yg higher mcm pentium2 dan keatas...

anyway saya punye specs td pun run firewall/web ( apache )/ Postfix MTA/ etc

kalau pakai windows dah lama jd tukun dah, tuh la kelebihannya pakai OSS/Linux/BSD, komputer laam masih boleh run OS+patch paling latest..

jgn pelik kalau pi kat mana2 bilik server SUK kerajaan negeri, ada yg pakai firewall linux run kat floppy disket tanpa harddisk kat pc lama ( pentium II ) etc, because I was there, pernah sentuh dan tgk...

yg penting, tukun ke apa tugas dia berjalan, kat pc tuh aku run web-cache server ( squid 2.7 ), apache, samba, sftp, ipf/ipnat, dan few more task.. Client connected tuh AMD 3000++ dan lain2 box, jalan takde hal cantik je

Next nak run *BSD kat old 486, ehehehe pernah wat dan jalan so no worries...

MAC OSX bess la.. takde virus, kita boleh check saper delete kita kat msn atau saper tutup window msn kalau diorang tak nak cakap ngan kiter.. start up dia laju, tak macam windows.. you have to wait several minutes for it to start load all the things... and many more..

aku dah test windows xp, vista & mac osx kat pc aku ni... so far kalu nak maen game... xleh lawan xp la... vista kuat makan memory...
osx cun.... nasib baik pc aku support osx86... dapat la merasa pakai osx...
