Silva says Man City boss Mancini has proved his worth
Manchester City attacker David Silva feels they need to shake off the shackles and get back to their attacking football.
City have seen Manchester United jump three points clear at the top of the table.
Silva told Voetbal International: "The manager has not specifically urged us to change our game, but I think we need to increase our self-confidence to feel freer and therefore play in a more attacking way.
"I must say that our manager has us exceptionally well prepared for every game.
"We are in second place and that means that he done a great job with the players. I think he does really good work."
