DOS SANTOS: Gunners legend told me to join Spurs
SPURS new boy Giovani Dos Santos has revealed that Arsenal legend Thierry Henry convinced him to join the Gunner bitter north London rivals.
The 19-year-old completed a £4.7million move from Barcelona earlier this summer after having a chat with former team-mate Henry at the Camp Nou.
He said: “When I knew Tottenham was an option for me I asked Thierry Henry ‘what about Tottenham?’ And he told me it would be good for me to come here.”
Meanwhile the Mexican striker is hoping to fill the void left by Robbie Keane's £19million departure to Liverpool this week.
He added: “To replace Robbie Keane is difficult because he’s a player of the highest level. But I have a lot of ambition and I hope to adapt quickly.
“I am not going crazy comparing myself to Robbie Keane or saying that I will do what he did. But I will work very hard to write my own history here.”

Gunners swoop for Bischoff
ARSENAL have unveiled Amaury Bischoff as their latest summer signing.
The Gunners have completed the signing of the Werder Bremen midfielder, who will wear the No28 shirt next season.
The Portugal Under-21 star started out with French clubs SR Colmar and Strasbourg before moving to Werder Bremen in 2005.
Bischoff, 21, is unlikely to be thrown straight into Arsene Wenger's first team after making just one appearance in three years for the German giants.
Earlier this month, he said: "Bremen was a superb experience but Arsenal is a huge opportunity for me.
"Wenger has known me since my time at Strasbourg and believes in my quality. He trusts me to be in the first-team.
"Wenger has not put me under any pressure. He said 'take all the time you need.'"
The French-born youngster becomes Arsenal's third major summer signing after the arrivals of Samir Nasri and Aaron Ramsey.
