im going in for epilasik pukul 5 petang nih
nih pre-op punya stats
left : -13.25 with -1.5 astigmatism
right: -12.50 with -1.5 astigmatism
left eye gonna be maximum correction
kalau blur takleh buat second operation sbb power tinggi sangat
right eye still boleh buat operation kalau still ada leftover power
tp estimated power gonna be below 100 for both

tp still cuak jugak nih
took day off from work today just to prep myself

cuma ada laaa rasa cuak sbb rasa mcm kena abducted by alien
especially during laser
after laser i can totally see the face of the doctor
clearly!!
skarang nih my eye feels bit uncomfortable
sbb ada bandage lense dalam mata
for someone who never ever wear CL
so rasa pelik skit
vision bit blurry
it is expected
so gonna see tomorrow what my power gonna be |

saje nak tanye pendapat,
mmg dah nk wat dah lasik ni, dah survey kat byk tempat jugak ie isec, optimax, dr. shukri &hardeep
last month buat preliminary checkup kat hukm optimax, die kate sume ok kornea tebal x de masalah.. power pun sblh mate -5.00 sebelah lagik -4.75 tapi astig agak tinggi dr average la x ingat tapi around -2.75 n -3.00 cam tu lah. cume anak mata de kate besar so possible tok astig naik balik lepas surgeri tu tinggi..(as if anak mata besar, cahaya masuk byk..lalu silau)
deorg kate nak buat conventional lasik or custom mane2 pun bole.
i decide nak buat custom sbb sekali je kan x kan nnt nk wat corrective surgeri plak pas tu. (custom lasik de akan potong lebih curve pada kornea tu utk shapekan as close as original eye shape. kalu conventional less curve,cam flat sikit)
i also decide nak wat all laser lasik that mean de pki laser x pki blade, more accurate lah kan
so, recent price for custom all laser lasik rm3588/eye..so, total around 7k la..(phewww!)
i talk to my mom about it..de kate try la tanye dr. shukri&hardeep eye specialist. de pernah wat checkup kat situ..my grandma pun pernah wat cataract surgeri kat situ. dr. lama and sgt experience.
i try google pasal clinic de tapi x byk info sgt..f im not mistaken de mmg sgt experience tok penyakit2 mate cam cataract ke glaucoma ke sakit2 mate y serius2 la..mmg org lame, rmi y suggest jugak. rmi jugak kate clinic de slalu rmai, tgu lame la camtu
so, i hv called his clinic de tanye pricing and all.
this is info y i dpt dr nurse dr. shukri sendiri.
-surgeri deorg mmg all laser lasik, x de pki blade
-cost per eye rm2500
-cost check up b4 surgeri and consultation around rm200-rm250
-medication mse awal tu and 1st eye checkup after surgeri mmg de include dlm price
deorg mmg x bg eye pad (the one that u suppose to wear mse tido)
-i tanye kat nurse tu nape murah sdgkan i check kat centre laen around rm3500 per eye.
nurse tu jwp dulu mmg price deorng cam tu jugak, tp this yr de turun harge..tp then de x cakap y.
(my guess sbb maybe org complen kne tgu lame..yelah, u pay such amount to go private kan, and if im not mistaken hanye cost for 1st eye consulatation after surgry je include, optimax :included for 1yr.btul x?
-eyecheckup buat hari selase n rabu sahaje, surgery tghari friday shj.
-surgery perform by dr. shukri himself.
so, total kat dr.shurki around 5k++
so ingat nk wat kat dr. shukri, next week wat check up n surgery.
mcm bole save around 1500 kan, i think cost eyepad tu x de la mahal sgt kan, by the way bole beli kat lua.
saje nk tanye kot2 ade org pernah dr psl dr.shukri ni
and nak tau la jugak name doc2 y korang bole suggestkan kat optimax tu.
becoz i believe to seek the doc's experience..optimax bagus jugak, i thought dr. shurki sounds cheaper and well esthabilsh as well.

saya dah lama simpan hasrat nk wat lasik ... power kiri dan kanan tak serupa, tapi dah cecah 800 - 900. ada astig lagi...
selama 7 tahun lebih pakai soft lenses,
kos: 6 pasang lense (1/2 setahun) = 300.00, setahun = 600.00
solution: 3 botol sebulan = 38.88, setahun = 466.56
normal saline: 4 botol sebulan = 12.00, setahun = 144.00
lain2 suppliment: ubat titis, ubat protein = 100.00
total setahun = 1310.56

rasanya kalau check lagi next week
dah dekat sangat ngan range zero kot
Alhamdulillah
sejak dari darjah dua pakai cermin mata
terasa nikmatnyaaa takde benda berat dekat muka 
totally worth my money
btw i ada few voucher RM50 utk check mata (so bila check mata just bayar 70 instead of 50)

i dah buat lasik finally, pheww
seminggu dah pun
dr -4.00 ++ dah tinggal zero for right eye and -0.75 for left eye.
i buat dgn dr. shukri... dr. bagus jugak cume nurse2 die je yang i x suke sangat ...... hahahaha
i just nak tanye sape yang dh buat lasik ni cam lady_nf and others la (hee, sorry x ingat name yang laen)
u still nampak cam halo and starburst x waktu mlm after surgeri?
i adalah bace dlm internet, kate mmg akan ade nampak tp i x sure plak tok forever ke camne..
sok ade appointment dr. shukri. nak tanye die jugak.
satu lagi i dulu, astig tinggi..1-2 hari pas surgeri tu clear la best..
i just wonder sbb i rase makin blur sikit lah..eh, bukan blur tp mcm double vision
i takut astig i naik dgn mudahnye...
and then bile tgk tv ke menghadap laptop ke...mata i rase cam irritate..
(haha, cam ssh kan..sbb dahlah mmg kaki tv, laptop tu jgn cerite la..x ble hidup tanpenye)
so, i cam rest la kurangkan tgk tv and laptop but then i rase cam mati katak plak.....hahahhahahahha

masa mula2 operation, mmg teruk halo ngan starburst
tp skarang after 1 month dah ok
halo takde..cuma starburst tp tak teruk sampai rasa kacau sangat
tadi gi buat one month check
right: power dah zero!!!, astig 25
kiri: -.25, astig 100
expected to decrease lagik nih kata opto tuh

takleh pakai lense for few weeks
then baru bleh buat surgery
kalau pakai spec
boleh je buat check up ngan surgery terus

esok ada buat appointment lagi..kalau boleh nak buat terus..tapi opto kata yg ada kat sunway or hukm...nak tanya lady buat katne dulu..?
opto tanya i..mana tau pasal optimax..saya ckp melalui intenet..so dia tanya sapa kwn yg rekemen..sya ckp tak ingat..
kat hukm lebih murah dari sunway or TTDI..hari apa kat HUKM?..
saya dah sabar nak buat cos kerja susah nak tengok report yg di print halus...kena buka spec lak kalau nak baca..huhu |

tp opto tuh cakap kalau dekat HQ dia, everyday ada surgery
kalau HUKM, hari khamis je kot (x ingat)

jeles dgr cite sume org yg dah sukses buat lasik ni.
actually sy pun patut dh undergo lasik kat optimax ni since last 2years.
tp suddenly tak dpt, sbb last cek up they said my cornea nipis sgt, not recommended buat lasik.
dah sedey2 la konon nye setahun nih, kecewa, mcm takde harapan dh nk ubat mata. sejak darjah 3 pakai spek. baru je berkira2 nk gi blaja diving la swimming la :cry:
but then, ade my friends yg tau psl mslh sy ni, suggest me utk try cek up kat VISTA.
sbb ade 2kawan yg dh buat mende tu almost 1year, dan sgt satisfied dgn resultnye till now. one of my friend tu ade mslh yg sama, cornea nipis, so doktor kat sane suggest satu surgery using techno baru, yg mmg utk mereka2 yg bermasalah camni la.
so last saturday i went there. after 2hours cek up, doctor recommend the surgery. rasa cam bernyawa smula dibuatnye :pompom:
already choose d date, middle mac.
but now still, cuakkk bagaiii. should or should not 
sape penah try nasa lasik ni - Visx. |

saya nak tanya.. dalam mata putih sebelah kiri saya ni macam ada darah beku @ merah la ( xtau la istilah yg di gunakan oleh pakar perubatan ) betul2 sebelah mata hitam...sebelum ni pernah langsung jadi mcm ni..risaunye la saya.... boleh tlg bgtau x kenapa jd mcm 2...mata x ternganggu pun buat masa ni... |
