I suka dgn sime darby...tapi bab nak diabsorp jadi permanent tu tak dijanjikan tu buat I rasa tergugat sikit....
HSBC ramai yg ckp stress...tapi disebabkan gaji,benefit n permanent...I rasa better HSBC...
sblm ni dah rasa happy sgt dpt sime darby MAP ni sbb rumah dekat aje ngan sime darby property,ara damansara tu.... lagipon ojt pon dpt property....hmmm....mgkin bukan rezeki dgn sime darby kot...

I was a MAP's trainee, first batch.

Satu jer i nak cakap, IF you really have no other job offer from other company, then, you may take this MAP as your starting point to learn and get use to working life in SD.

BUT...

If you have other offer, by all mean, pls go and grab it.

I'v had my fair share on this. I had 2 junior batches working here for the past 2 years and I've seen enuf to tell you that 'dont put too much hope on MAP's Prog'. Thats all.

To those all MAP juniors, 4th batch. Good Luck!

I'm under Industrial Division.

First batch MAPS, quite a few of us was hired. My 3rd batch junior that still has a month to go (she'll fisnish her 1 year term this 21st Jun) told me that out of hundred MAPS of her batch under Plantation Div, less than 10 was hired. I'm not sure bout the rest.

As for Industrial division, less than 6 was hired. In my current company, there are only 2 MAPs. Most of them was excused early and informed that they don't have a place for them. No choice, you have to search for somewhere else. If you wanna stay to fully complete the 1 year term, you may do so but again, as what they will told you "we have no vacancy here for you".

I had this same experience. I was attached to this one department. On my first month, the top head himself told me to look for somewhere else as they don't have any vacant post for me and my MAP's partner. We were really demotivated, and were pretty upset. If they dont need us, why would they 'request' for us to be placed under their Dept. in the first place?

Thank God, i request to be moved to other Dept. (again, its depend on the top management if they agree to it). And, lucky me,in this new Dept. i was absorbed and hired. And here I am.
Some of my friends were not dat lucky. Even, some of them performed better and able to perform despites what was written in their degree ( my fren has degree in finance but she able to do technical job like machine inspection, and other pretty hardcore stuff that technical guy can do and this was agreed by her colleague), but again..i guess its not her rezeki then.

Well, it could be happening to my Division but not to the rest of other divisions.
Still, treat this as an opportunity for you guys to learn new things. Try your best. If you are hired within 1 year, Alhamdulillah. Good Luck~
