Scottish midfielder Charlie Adam has completed his move to Liverpool.
The former Blackpool man put pen to paper on his new contract on Thursday afternoon after successfully completing a medical.
Adam, 25, is pictured below alongside Liverpool Director of Football Damien Comolli. |

Premier League club Liverpool are set to announce a £150 million contract with global manufacturers Adidas to design their jerseys for the next ten years.
The current deal with the sportswear brand has two years still to run but it seems that negoatiations are in motion to extend this agreement for another decade. The club currently receives £12 million per year but this new agreement would see this increased to £15 million per year.
The team are also competing directly with Chelsea who are half way through a £10 million per year deal that runs out in 2015. However, Liverpool’s figures are someway behind Manchester United who will receive £300 million over 13 years from Nike.
The team has had a particularly difficult 09/10 campaign so far with an early exit in the Champions League and several poor results that has left them out of the title race and in a battle for 4th place. The team are competing for 4th place with Manchester City, Tottenham and Aston Villa. Liverpool are currently in 6th place and have played a game more than their City and Villa whilst Spurs have two games in hand. Even so, they are six points behind Manchester City who occupy the final Champions League spot. They will have to win their final four matches to have any chance of 4th. |
