The popular gaming site , 'TeenPattiParty.com' has signed on Mahima Choudhury as its brand ambassador. The actress had made a stunning Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Subhash Ghai's 'Pardes' in 1997 .

The site which was launched in 2005 , hopes that Mahima's popularity will help the already popular online gaming site to get thousands of new users signed up.

Charming Charmme! whispers Hrithik Roshan

憫Charm me,拻 she said. For a moment, Hrithik Roshan was apparently taken aback. 憫Excuse me?!拻 he uttered. However, it did not take much time for the hero to realise that Charmme was the name of the beautiful lady.

And then the duo had a hearty laugh even as cameras went click, click, click. It was however, very apparent as to who charmed whom! The incident occurred at the audio release of the Telugu version of Hrithik抯 forthcoming film Krrish in Hyderabad recently.

He抯 one of the most handsome heroes of Bollywood today. But that抯 not the sole reason for his iconic status among movie-buffs. Apart from being a fine actor on screen, Hrithik Roshan has also proved to be a real life hero by being a dutiful son, a loyal husband and now a doting father.

The actor was in Hyderabad, along with his father and producer-director Rakesh Roshan, for the audio release of his forthcoming film Krrish. In an exclusive interview with Movie Scope, Hrithik spoke candidly on a variety of issues, both professional and personal. Excerpts:

Your father Rakesh Roshan says Krrish has been his toughest film so far.

Let me admit it. I have great hopes from Krrish. Compared to Krrish, Koi Mil Gaya looks like an ant. My father and I have tried to take on the biggest challenge of our profession by investing all our earnings in Krrish. You should see the film for the incredible special effects and the mind-blowing action sequences we抳e used.

Are you not worried by the menace of film piracy?

No amount of worrying is going to solve the problem. I guess one logical way to curb piracy is to produce the highest quality sound on the original soundtrack like we抳e done for Krrish. The other way is to create awareness about how the evil of piracy affects us all. Those who indulge in piracy are basically thieves with bad intentions, and money in the hands of people with bad intentions is bad for all of us... in fact, it can be disastrous.

Which is your fave song from Krrish?

It抯 definitely Koi Tumsa Nahin. It抯 got a very interesting melody, which is my chacha抯 forte.

What do you think of the kind of films that are being made today?

I抦 very fortunate to be working in an age when our cinema is growing into a very sensitive medium which is socially aware. Our cinema is no longer melodramatic. It is much more real now, it抯 just like playing out a scene from real life. We are making films which have broken the commercial mode.

How do you feel being labelled a youth icon?

That抯 a consequence of the magic of cinema. A celebrity can抰 shy away from the responsibility he or she gains socially. Initially, my iconic status made me feel awkward as I could not understand how people could treat me like an icon without knowing my personality. But now I抳e realised that my iconic status is a result of the kind of success I抳e achieved through my work. It makes me feel so much responsible. It抯 also a great source of motivation.

In a scenario where every other married actor seems to be ditching his spouse, you have emerged as a committed husband.

I抦 just lucky to have a wife like Suzzanne. Marriage is a commitment. You have to be man enough to understand the importance of a committed relationship.

What are your forthcoming films?

Apart from director Sanjay Gadhavi抯 Dhoom-2 and Ashutosh Gowarikar抯 Akbar Jodha, I will be doing Zoya Akhtar抯 untitled film with Kareena Kapoor which will start around January next.

What makes Hrithik so angry?

Hrithik Roshan is so angry, after some Ivan Rana, claimed to be an independent filmmaker accused Rakesh Roshan of using his story idea for 'Krrish'. According to Rana, in 2003 he had left his script with the veteran filmmaker. Though Rakesh Roshan, not giving much importance to his claims, coolly said it baseless and false, son Hrithik, however, doesn't want to leave the person just denying his allegation like Rakesh. Hrithik has verbally invited the Rana for a duel. Recently the Bollywood hi- man said, "He's very welcome to do as he pleases, but he's getting a tight slap from me in any case." "If there's anybody else out there claiming a piece of dad's original work, please come forward. I have a lot of muscle I need to put to some good use."

When contacted, Ivan Rana had this to say: "I stand by my earlier statement that I had met Rakesh Roshan and had kept my story and concept with him."

Abhishek blasts Aishwarya Rai!

Already marred by the break up rumours, the relationship between Ash and Abhshek got a serious blow when Aishwarya's mom spoke about their relationship with media.

"I didn't know my daughter was a manglik until I read it in papers," she laughed while talking about the problem in their proposed alliance.

"We are all shocked at this false report. How can somebody lie so blatantly? Who had Aishwarys's kundali anyway? And why have they dragged her brother Aditya in all this. The poor guy is not involved at all."

But Bachchans were apparently not amused by Brinda Rai's remarks. We hear that Abhishek so upset with the entire episode that he called up Ash and gave her an earful.

An insider quotes Abhishek: 揗ake sure this doesn抰 happen again. I don抰 want any member of your family talking about me, us or my family. My family has always maintained a low profile when it comes to our personal lives and I抎 like to continue that.

Two days ago BT carried a story where independant filmmaker Ivan Rana accused Rakesh Roshan of using his story idea for Krrish. According to Rana, in 2003 he had left his script with the veteran filmmaker. However, Roshan denied meeting Rana. In reaction to Rana抯 allegations, son Hrithik Roshan is enraged.

He told BT, 揑 don抰 know whether to laugh this off or waste time by explaining and give this man importance. But my sincere advice to him is that he should find some work, an idle mind is the devil抯 workshop. He抯 not going to achieve anything by striving for fleeting importance.

But he抯 very welcome to do as he pleases, he抯 getting a tight slap from me in any case. And if there抯 anybody else out there claiming a piece of dad抯 original work, please come forward. I have a lot of muscle I need to put to some good use.

Ash, homesick!

Aishwarya Rai felt homesick recently while shooting for Mani Ratnam's 'Guru' in Badami. Thus when Ratnam decided to change his location from Badami to Chennai, Ash decided to make use of he break to dash back home to catch some time with her family along with ghar ka khana. A close friend of Ash says, "It has been a tiring month for her, because she has been shooting in Badami for the last 25 days. The temperature ran up to 45 degrees Celsius, yet they had to work round the clock. Finally when Mani Sir decided to change locations, she took a day off from the schedule and came home to meet her parents, brother and sister-in-law."

Incidentally the actor was bored with studio food and wanted to come home and relish homemade food.  

Krish, Hrithik's ultimate commitment

What's a star entry if its not backed with a quick starry exit? Hrithik Roshan came,saw and dashed off. CNN-IBN's Varsha Pillai caught the actor in this dash.

A fashion show to showcase the launch of a new collection Krish - called the 'ultimate commitment range' but the real gem of the show Hrithik Roshan turned up for the event an hour-and-a-half late.

Dressed in pristine white and dark shades the actor shook hands, made a few moves, clapped a little and did his endorsement bit.

In between all this, he also managed to give his own reasoning on why the film Krish (sequel to Koi Mil Gaya) had tied up with the jewellery brand.

"Its always nice to be associated with a jewellery brand and any man who knows the opposite sex would know the importance of jewellery," says he.

Ignoring the dozens of questions that everyone gathered there wanted to ask him, the actor made a hasty exit, immediately after doing the endorsement bit.

One wonders if a particular plagiarism accusation was the cause for the actor's shying away from the cameras.
