GHS, who is walking two different roads as actress and director, has revealed something about her dating style. <If I like someone, I tend to become one-sided/unilateral.>
최근 영화 ‘요술’의 홍보 인터뷰를 위한 자리에서 이상형에 관한 질문에 “사실 어릴 때는 예의바른 사람, 의리 있는 사람, 사랑을 줄 수도 있고 알고 받을 줄 아는 사람 진짜 사랑이 뭔지 아는 사람 뭐 그런 것들이 이상형이었는데 시간이 지나면서 변하는 것 같다”고 말문을 열었다. While interviewing GHS for the promotion of Yo-Sool, I asked her about her ideal type. GHS: <When I was younger, my ideal was someone with good manners, faithful loyalty..someone who knows how to love, who knows what true love is and who knows how to receive love..etc. However, as time passes, I think it is changing.
“여자 친구가 핸드폰 장식품인 것 마냥 달고 다니는 사람이 아니라 상대를 진짜 응원하고 이해하고 존재 자체를 사랑해줄 수 있는 사람이 이상형이다”고 덧붙였다. GHS: <I don't want a kind of guy who would think of his girlfriend like the decoration on a cellphone that he just carries around. My ideal is someone who would truly support and understand the woman (GHS). Someone who would love the person for herself--the bare essence.
연애할 때의 스타일에 대해서는 “사실 전에는 제가 좋으면 마음이 일방적인 편이었다”며 “좋아하면 표현하는 스타일이었다. 만날 때는 상대를 ‘제 아들이다’라고 생각하고 만나는 편이다. 엄마가 된다. 누군가가 나에게 관심을 쏟아 주는 것을 어려워하고 내가 관심을 많이 주는 편이었다. 오지랖이 넓어서 그런 것 같은데 어느 순간 생각해보니 나도 어떤 부분에서 잘못한 것 같고 성숙하지 못했던 것 같다. 그때 24살 정도였다”고 밝혔다. GHS's style of dating: <In the past, when I like someone, I went all out. If I liked the person, I expressed it. When I would meet him, I would think of him as 'my son'. I become a mother. I did not feel comfortable with the other person showing so much attention to me but I would give lots of attention to the other person. I think it comes from the fact that I tend to be meddlesome. However, I suddenly realized that it does not seem right. It does not seem like a mature love. I was 24 at that time.

The way I think about true mature love now has to do with couple who help increase each other's work efficiency. Instead of making the other person give up his/her work, I feel that it is better to cheer the other person and to help improve his/her work. I feel that is the best kind of person/love.
마지막으로 “마음이 순수하지 않으면 상대를 응원하지 힘들다”며 “돈과 명예만 따지만 상대를 짐짝 취급한다든지 그럴 수도 있다. 상대를 응원하려면 기본적인 순수함이 있어야 하고 그 순수함을 상대를 지켜봐주는 것이 좋은 것 같다”고 털어놨다. Finally, if the person's heart is not pure and genuine, it is hard to support and cheer for the other person. If the couple in relationship only roots for money and fame/reputation, then they may be only viewing each other as packages, not people. In order to truly support and cheer for each other, there has to be a foundation of purity/genuineness. It is good to stand by the other person with the heart of purity/genuineness.

A new shop has opened for celebrity's art activities.
CJ푸드빌이 운영하는 뚜레쥬르는 오는 23일 뚜레쥬르 신사점 매장 2층에 ‘Gallery TLJ’를 새롭게 선보인다.
CJ Pewtbiri(?) which manages TLJ will be opening 'gallery TLJ' on the 2nd floor of its Shinsa branch store on the coming 23rd.
‘Gallery TLJ’는 영화, 미술, 음악, 문학 등 다양한 예술 분야에서 재능을 발휘하고 있는 뚜레쥬르의 광고 모델 구혜선의 작품들로 꾸며진 갤러리 형태의 매장으로 스타의 다양한 작품도 감상하고 빵과 커피도 함께 즐길 수 있는 새로운 컨셉의 복합 문화 공간이다.

Second Week of Goo Cine—part 1
Sorry that webby and I did not get to translate the GooCine from last week.
I would think that most of it is kind of self-explanatory. Right?
I will try to translate this week’s GooCine first. GHS’s playfulness is in full bloom.
Thanks meow13 for working hard to download the GooCine for all sunnies into YT! You are awesome.
GHS and Choi IN Young, the music director of YoSool, are scouting the HongDae area for the best spot to do the guerrilla concert to do good for the neighbors and to show off the music and more for YoSool. People are noticing GHS as she walks the street, calling out her name. They are trying to tell the gathering people that they are just trying to see what it would be like to do the concert here, but, of course, nobody is moving away. So, @0.33, CIY asks GHS to give the people a taste of the music and GHS screams because she is embarrassed. But, she does not disappoint the people.
GHS first sings her composition, <I must be dumb>. People say: It is charming! The Best!
Of course, GHS says she did not do well.
GHS next sings the <Brown Hair>.
Screen: A director with very high quality singing ability..
Screen: When did she get the time to make these sweet songs!
@2.20 GHS: I, uhh, am too conscious and concerned about the audience. (CIY laughs). That was not the reason that we came here today. (both laugh)
@2.34 CIY: Maybe if you have friends nearby, you should just tell them to bring over the amp right now. Maybe we should just do a simple version today. Should we?
GHS: (laughing and jokingly) Yeah, we should just get it over with everything today. Yeah, even the weather is good. Should we?! (screen: suddenly she seems to be excited about the idea.) Yeah, we will do one today and then on that day.
CIY: Yeah..of course, but, we don’t really have much prepared.
GHS shows off her guitar playing skill and says:
@3:24 (to the cameraman) I sound like I know what I’m doing, right? See? (to CIY) I just have to look like I know what I’m doing.(laughter)
GHS sings <I must be dumb> again, but there is a booming background sound interfering. However, what was great about both of them and esp GHS is that she does not stop singing or lose her focus. She keeps on going and eventually the booming background noise dies down.
CIY: We are having a concert next Wednesday at 5PM so please come. Also, our movie YoSool opens on June 24th.
GHS: I am so embarrassed. After having done all that, I am embarrassed. (to CIY) Let’s run away now. (he laughs)
Right now, I am in a state of panic and feel like hovering between life and death (GHS’s stage fright symptoms)
Then, she shows her fingertips.
GHS (to cameraman) @5:14~please film it as if I worked really hard. (so the cameraman goes close-up on her fingers.) Did you get the shot? Whew! I just practice every night alone in a corner of my room. I have blisters/hardened skin on my fingers because I am not good at it but I keep on doing it anyway.
(The fans are just following her as she walks—I even see that little boy who gave an indifferent look at the part following GHS.)
A fan asks her if he could shake her hand and she does. Shouts of WOW’s..
GHS: I heard people say I’m pretty and I have not heard that in a long time.
CIY: Really?
GHS: (to cameraman) You know how it was during the filming. You know what kind of treatment I receive from the staff. ,,,They just step on me… (laughters)
Week of June 22 of Goo Cine—part 2 (thanks meow13)
Most of the Making of YoSool for this part took place at the GoAhm Noori Theatre where her fans were invited to partake in the movie. This is in Jan of 2010. The screen says that <JoDir.is in distress.>
GHS is calling out for JoDirector=Director of lighting=JoDir.
GHS: Today’s title is <JoDir is a mischievous person>. (GHS catches the poor JoDir and pulls on his hood.)
Screen: This is stressful. She is not leaving JoDir alone,,,(GHS is smiling and looks like she is having fun. She really bothers JoDir who is kind of camera shy!)
Again, GHS is calling out for JoDir who is trying to talk on the phone. He is trying to get away from GHS but you could also see JoDir smiling and so is GHS. (Strangely, this mischievous going-on between GHS and JoDir remind me of what 3rd grade GHS used to do to her poor and scared boy desk partner---giving him lots of stress—do you guys remember the 2006~7 episode with Yoo Jae Suk?)
GHS takes the phone away from JoDir and tries to talk but JoDir says that the other person did not answer the phone yet.
GHS: (@0.42) What is going on here! ARe you just pretending to talk to someone here?
Screen: JoDir’s phone is like my phone? (the cameraman is noticing that GHS gives no privacy or space to JoDir. GHS also slaps JoDir' back.
GHS: He is just pretending to talk on the phone.
Screen: He is scared of Director Goo and that is why he even resorts to pretending to talk on the phone! (Hohoho)
JoDir: (to the phone) Hello!
GHS: (cracking up and pointing finger at JoDir, because she still believes that JoDir is pretending.)
@0.54 GHS: I hear that JoDir likes me. I hear that he is going to confess to me today. JoDir-nim, I already told them. Please come fast and tell me. I hear that you like me. Come on.
Screen: Is this true? HyeSun is keep on forcing him to confess!
GHS: (pulling on JoDir’s black and white scarf as if she is choking him!) You are not embarrassed. Come on, tell. You must have courage. (I think JoDir ran away!)
Cameraman: Maybe GooDir likes JoDir?
GHS: really? (then. She does not say anything.)
GHS caught JoDir again!
GHS (to JoDir) Come on! Tell! Staff are saying that it is I who like you.
JoDir: Ahh..(smiling) Please stop liking me!
Screen: Big Scandal! GHS falls in love with JoDir while making her film?!
GHS cracks up.
JoDir (to GHS): If you like me, you will only be left with scars.
GHS (going over to Camera Director—the one who also was a Camera Director for Speed Scandal movie.) (GHS sounds like a pouty little girl telling on somebody) Director-nim, JoDir says I have to stop liking him.
Screen: GHS is tattle-tailing to Camera Director.
Camera Dir is touching GHS on her hood.
GHS (to CameraDir): What are you doing?
CamDir: I am pretending to be JoDir (both laugh)
Screen: Camera man must have asked GHS and CamDir about JoDir’s behaviors.
GHS and CamDir are talking about the behavior of JoDir. CamDir says that JoDir constantly touches GHS—like trying to hold her hands and pulling her away. GHS also says the same thing.
Screen: So, what is the real story behind the relationship of GHS and JoDir?
