KUALA LUMPUR: Actress, host and entrepreneur Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor has just met one of her favourite fashion designers, Tommy Hilfiger, and she was star-struck!
Better still, the acclaimed American designer even got his team to fit Neelofa with his brand's latest apparel during the New York Fashion Week in the United States.
Neelofa, who is currently at the fashion event, said she was overjoyed to meet Hilfiger backstage at the annual international show recently, and posted a photo of both of them on her Instagram account yesterday.
In the caption, Neelofa said: "Look who's popped by during my fitting. The man behind the iconic brand himself, Mr. Tommy Hilfiger!"
She also said that Hilfiger praised her sense of style and wished her all the best in her work. "He said to me, you look great!"
Neelofa, 30, also said Hilfiger's assistants introduced her to the designer as they helped her put on his latest outfits behind the stage.
"He and his team gave me lots of positive comments and words of encouragement. He is a very down to earth man."
She admitted being a longtime fan of Hilfiger's fashion label and enjoyed wearing Tommy Hilfiger jackets.
Netizens congratulated Neelofa on her meeting with Hilfiger.

Hilfiger, 68, began his fashion career by founding a chain of stores called People's Place in New York in the 1970s. His company later expanded into women's clothing and perfumes.
His collections are influenced by the fashion of music subcultures and marketed in connection with the music industry.
