i am actually surprised that Man Utd and SAF especially is standing by and letting Cristiano make them look a little foolish. Man Utd are the champions of europe and they shouldn't be being publically seem to be made waiting on one players every word. I think Cristiano is playing us both a little TBH. And its really annoying.
The move to me just seems a bad idea, both football wise and economically, its Madrid doing what they're worst at, seeing shiny new things and wanting them, now, not thinking about what it may cause, i really dont know how financially viable this potential move would be, this club is in debt i dont believe Calderon when he says the clubs debt is just all fine and rosey and Cristiano would cost atleast 70m and his wages for a season are bound to be about 7-9m. If his signing means that the club gets pimped out all around east asia every year like when Beckham was here then no way is that good for this club, a signing of that size also means that we may not be able to buy anyone else when we desperatley need a a right back and left back and a attacking midfeilder. The move really worries me.
And from a football point of view, even if Cristiano is on his best behaviour, doesnt showboat or hold the ball up for three weeks at a time, there will still be tension caused by him, whether he means it or not, theres will be a spilt, the moment the salaries are fairly evenly spread out other than possibly Ra鷏 he will be earning more than anyone, that causes tension, it'll only be a matter of time before others start getting annoyed, particually the big players at the club, and before we know it we'll have another Makekele on our hands. No-one asks questions of Ra鷏s salary because hes Ra鷏 and what hes done for the club speaks for itself, but if a new player comes in and immeditaley earns up to 4 times as much as another first teamer then thats a big issue.
I sincerly hope this club has learned from past mistakes and dont starts putting a star player infront of whats best for the club. But unfortunaley i do think its only a matter of time before he plays for Madrid. |

pada aku man u takyah kecoh2 dah...skrg ni patut diorg dah start cari player yg leh ganti cr7...bukan takat cr7 je..player yg leh ganti gigg, scholes, vds etc...tak guna nak pertahan cr7 bermati2an kalu pembangunan / pencarian player baru tak buat...takkan sampai kertu diorg nak main?org lain sibuk beli player, yg korg sibuk pasal cr7 tak sudah2...mcm la atas padang tu cuma dia sorg yg main....biar la real nak politikkan/sensasikan keadaan...kalu diorg tak dpt cr7 pon at least diorg dpt publisiti as usual....man u plak yg nampak sengal bangat terkinja2 nak pujuk cr7... |
