Massa to debut new Ferrari F1 car
Felipe Massa will have the honour on Thursday to complete the first laps with Ferrari's 2010 contender. After Thursday's presentation of the team's new car Massa will complete the first laps with the new car at Ferrari's private track Fiorano.
Following the team's first miles in its hometown Maranello the team will travel to Valencia to join a number of other teams for the first week of testing. Felipe Massa will taking the wheel on Monday while Fernando Alonso will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday in Valencia.

DOMENICALI: SCHUMI WILL FIGHT FERRARI FOR THE TITLE
Ferrari team boss Stefano Domenicali reckons Michael Schumacher will be up there challenging for the 2010 World title with his Mercedes GP team.
The seven-time World Champion is set to make his return to Formula One with Mercedes, having signed a three-year contract with the German outfit.
But after three years out of the sport and having turned 41 in January this year, there are some doubts about whether Schumacher still has what it takes.
The German's Mercedes GP team boss Ross Brawn is confident that "raw talent doesn't disappear", a sentiment echoed by Ferrari's Domenicali.
"Michael is ready to fight for the title," Domenicali told Spain's Onda Cero radio.
"He is a great Champion and a great driver, and if he has chosen to come back it's because he knows he will have a competitive car, and he too will be, surely.
"We can't forget we wanted him to be Felipe Massa's replacement last season.
"He will be one of our rivals, just like Mercedes, and Rosberg, McLaren, with two great drivers, and Red Bull. The title will be fought between ourselves and another three teams."
As for his own team, Ferrari are having to come back from a dismal 2009 campaign in which they claimed just one victory, finished fourth in the Constructors' Championship and called a halt on development mid-way through the season.
However, the early end to 2009 for the Scuderia has given them plenty of time to fix the problems that plagued them throughout the season, a move that proved rather successful for Brawn GP when they started the Championship with a car that had been in development for most of the previous year.
"We have worked hard during the past months and we will have to keep doing it during the season, which will be long, with 19 races. We need to avoid getting anxious from the first race if things don't work well from the start," Domenicali said.
"If we start with calm and rationality, and to Ferrari's competitiveness we add Fernando's strength, we have a good mix to look to the future with confidence."

Presenting the new Ferrari F10
In keeping with the times, in a somewhat sedate launch, Ferrari unveiled their 2010 challenger to the world on Thursday, promising greatness and glory.
With Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa on hand, the covers were taken off the Scuderia's latest F1 car, the F10, which is the result of months of work given Ferrari's decision to focus on the year ahead in the midst of a dismal 2009 Championship.
The new car, which predominantly features the Santander branding, carries a much larger fuel tank given the new ban on refuelling. It also has bulges similar to last year's Red Bull RB5 and the double-decker diffuser.
Added to that the new front wing has end plates that resemble those used on Brawn's 2009 Championship-winning car, while the sidepods have a unique shape which is designed to maximise airflow to the rear of the car, and the back of the car appears very clean and narrow.
The Italian marque has high hopes for their new car, determined to return to the front of the pack after a seeing lagging in the midfield.
"This Championship will be very important for us," said team boss Stefano Domenicali. "The last Championship, for different reasons, was not very positive, that is why we are dealing with this one looking to be competitive - and this is what Ferrari deserves to have.
"We have two new drivers, why two new drivers? Fernando Alonso, is a twice World Champion and we will say after the second one he will have a third one. He already appears among the big champions in F1, it is the right moment for him, for us, he wants to be successful and we want to repeat what the team concept is in our group.
"Felipe, we are talking of a new version of Felipe, but after such a dramatic Championship like last year with the accident in Hungary and such a fantastic season, Felipe has all the assets to prove that he is a very successful one, he can prove that he wants to restart his pathway that destiny interrupted it in Hungary. Good luck to both of them." |
