Q: When we mentioned Yoo Ji Tae, the first reaction peoplehave is a movie actor, may we know between dramas and movies, what are theirdifference to you? A: When I am preparing, I don’t feel there is much difference.I think they are all projects. Its just that since they are different media,the features are different.
Q: Compared to movies, you rarely take on dramas. What isthe reason for you to be more involved in the movie sector? A: Firstly, my major was in movies. I want to explore what aremovies hence I focus on them.
Q. After Star lover, its been six years since you shoot adrama. What is the reason for taking up Healer? A: Firstly, the scriptwriter is excellent and the director whois good in presenting. Also partnering many great actors. I thought it will bea good drama.
Q. In Healer, you showcase great acting as a reporter. Didyou contact a broadcaster with regards to the speech pronounciation? A: Yes, to act well as the character Kim Moon Ho, because in thedrama, he is a star reporter, in order to make the character more perfect, Ifeel the need to correct my speech, so I personally observe the speech ofbroadcaster Son Suk Hee’s habits and the way he talk. I also visited the famousreporter Lee Sang Woo etc. I research on their special features.
Q. What are the difficulties in filming? A: We are now filming smoothly. Its just that there is a lot ofdialogue in the script. There are some technical terms that are not easy tounderstand and difficult to digest. But I will try my best.
Q. In Healer, your appearance in suits has mesmerised manypeople. Do you think you are a Suit person? A: Yes, actually I enjoy wearing suits. For me, actually I amquite practical. I like to bike, so I like smart casual outfits that I can wearwhen I am cycling.
Q.Privately do you like such styles? A: Yes I like such styles.
Q.There are some types that I like A:What type? Like what you mentioned earlier, the European style
Q. Normally how do you maintained your figure? A: For me, usually I do crossfit to manage my figure. And Ilike to swim since I was young
Q. After being in so many projects, which actress left thedeepest impression on you? A: I have been in about 24-25 movies and dramas and have workedwith many beautiful actresses. If I really have to choose one, its really avery difficult question. Then I will choose Lee Young Ae senior.
Q. The reason is? A: No matter if it is personality, acting skills or poise, andthe way she treat the staff. Its really perfect.
Q. Other than being an actor, you also participated as theproducer for many short films and stage plays. Between being infront of thescreen and behind the scenes, which area do you prefer? A: I really like the filming site. I really like the live site,the feeling of everyone working together. I feel happy and hope to stay in thiscareer for a long time. To be an actor, to perform and to be a producer. I cantchoose between any one as the most preferred.
Q. Can you tell us your plans for the rest of the year?
A: Now the focus is filming Healer. After Healer, I have aproject that I am preparing, I will need to prepare for the next project.
