Setiap kali saya terbaca kisah-kisah sadis dan kejam seperti kejadian anak membunuh ibu, atau anak sanggup menghantar ibu bapa ke rumah jagaan orang-orang tua di akhbar atau majalah,

pasti saya akan teringatkan sikap Amid.

Biarpun Amid sudah pergi meninggalkan kami hampir lebih dua tahun lamanya, namun apabila saya terkenangkannya, saya akan menitiskan air mata. Sedih dan terharu apabila mengenangkan pengorbanan Amid terhadap emak.

Namun, dalam sedih, ada terselit di hati saya rasa gembira. Sikap taatnya kepada ibu, dan peristiwa pelik yang berlaku pada Amid ketika kematiannya, membuatkan saya yakin, itu adalah petunjuk dari Tuhan, sebagai balasan buat seorang anak yang telah mengabdikan diri terhadap ibu sehingga ke akhir hayatnya.

"Dan Kami wajibkan manusia berbuat baik kepada kedua-dua ibu bapanya;

ibunya telah mengandungnya dengan menanggung kelemahan demi kelemahan (dari awal mengandung hingga akhir menyusunya) dan tempoh menceraikan susunya ialah dalam masa dua tahun;

(dengan yang demikian) bersyukurlah kepada-Ku dan kepada kedua-dua ibu bapamu;

dan (ingatlah), kepada Akulah jua tempat kembali (untuk menerima balasan)".

A story to tell



A friend of mine shares this story to me this morning, I have made some modification and the story has something to tell...



One old man was sitting with his 25 years old son in a train. The train is about to leave the station. All passengers are settling down on their seats. As the train moving, the young man was filled with lot of joys and curiousity. He was sitting on the window side. He pun one hand and let the feeling of the passing air. He shouted, "Papa see all tress are going behind". The old man smiled and admire his son's feeling. Beside the young man there was a couple sitting and listening to all the conversation between father and son. they were little annoyed and felt awkward to see the attitude of the 25 years old man behaving like a small child.



Suddently the young man again shouted, "Papa see the pond and animals, clouds are moving with the train". The couple was watching the young man with annoying feelings. Now it's started to rain and some rain water drops touches the young man's hand. He felt the joy and close his eyes. He shouted again, "Papa it's raining, the rain water is touching me, see Papa". The couple couldn't help themselves and ask the old man. "Why don't you visit the Doctor and get your son treated" The Old man said, "Yes, we were coming from hospital, only today my son has got his eyes for the first time in his life"



The above story touches me personally...why?



I have a son...a child with "Aspergent Syndrome" a mild Austism. His passion was with train as well and behave in the same manner of the young man above.



I love him very much...I gave him my undivided love and attention, as I know others who have not encountered with such wonderful people would not be able to understand the love and fullfiling having such child...
