Government has developed guidelines on governance and management of federal statutory bodies. It is setting up an office to review the direction of the statutory bodies, as well as to look at their financial capabilities and overlapping of roles and duties, involving 544 such bodies including companies limited by guarantee (CLBG). |

The iPayment system, developed by the Accountant General's Department of Malaysia as a cashless payment platform, will be used at all government counters starting 2025. |
