i tambah meringue powder dlm buttercream so cream tu stabil..meringue powder Wilton mahal..lebih kurang rm20 for 113gm..nak murah beli meringue powder kat Pastry Pro kepong..bukan brand wilton tp dia jual rm8 for 100gm..

i tambah meringue powder tu sekali ngan icing sugar...sukatan dia ikut resipi jugak..i refer to resepi buttercream kt sini gak laa...jap,nanti i paste..

i refer to this recipe by lynhassan

SNOW WHITE BUTTERCREAM [lynnhassan]

163g solid white vegetable shortening
1 tsp flavour ( I use wilton vanila flavour)
2 tbsp milk (use UHT) or water
454g icing sugar
1 tbsp Wilton Meringue powder (egg white powder)
secubit garam

1. Beat shortening, flavour, dan water/milk.
2. Bila sebati, tambah icing sugar, meringue powder dan garam. Mix gunakan medium speed sempai sebati dan creamy.

NOTE:
1. Resepi ini boleh dapat 3 cups. Selalunya untuk cupcakes, saya add 2 tbsp milk untuk each cup, senang nak pipekan
2. Buttercream jenis ni tak muak sikit. Sesuai kalau untuk tempahan sebab dia stabil. Sesuai untuk buat design seperti bunga, cartoon

Nak tanya pasal Princess/barbie cake..

camner packaging kek ni yer sebab kek ni tinggi & besar?..kotak camner yg sesuai nak letak kek ni & agak2 tahan tak kalau nak antar ke tempat yg jauh (dlm 5jam perjalanan)..

1829# lilo1979 ku pernah terbaca kat blog seberang,dia ltk dlm bekas polisterin (mcm bekas ikan )..bawah tu diletakkan air batu..setiap penjuru kotak diletakkan tin minuman pastu alas dgn board kemudian baru letak kotak kek berisi barbie .jgn lupa sendal tepi2 kotak tu dgn stryfoam supaya kotak tak bergoyang & jgn lupa gak nk tutup kotak polisterin tu sekali tau
guna ais yg jual dlm peket tu yea.

try buat buttercream guna resipi di atas ni lynnhassan - cuma rasanya pada leen lah...
agak manis, nasib masuk icing tu sikit-sikit...
meringue powder pun guna sikit jek, first time, so tak berani guna banyak...
tapi ok memang tak muak...

anis pun buat style mcm ni masa nak packing kek barbie doll tu...dan masa nak buat kotak sendiri tu, kena pastikan bila kek barbie doll tu dah dok dalam kotak tu, tak der ruang terdedah supaya kek tak tercemar...
