Ada sesiapa tahu mengenai Nagios tak???? macam ni boss aku kasi aku project thn ni... dia suruh aku buat Nagios.. bila aku baca2 nagios ni hendaklah di install kan dlm linux... aku lak tak tahu langsung pasal linux... dah lah aku baca pasal linux... mcm2 ada.. ubuntu lah... fedora lah.. unix lahhh... boleh tak aku install nagiso menggunakan windows server??? aku kalu window lain.. selain adik beradik linux ni aku tahu lah jugak... please somebody help me... tk |

takleh run kat windows. itu setakat yg aku tau la. kalau takat nak monitor pc windows boleh la.. |

nagios ni software to monitor IT infrastructure; such as servers, desktops, routers, switches, etc. kalau nagios doesn't say about specific linux flavor, mungkin it's compatible any linux flavor. similar to unix... compatible with any unix flavor (no mention of solaris, hpux, aix, etc.). to make it easy, just use ubuntu to install nagios.
worst case, it won't install and you can move on to another linux flavor. you've got nothing to lose and lots to gain. that's what they call it learning on the job. don't be afraid with technology. if you're afraid, it gets you no where. |

oleh sebab nagios tu Linux environment, ko bleh install VMware atau virtual PC dlm windows ko. then bleh la install nagios tu.
cuma bleh berfungsi dgn sepenuhnya atau tidak dalam virtual mode, itu je persoalannya.
kalau nak install linux betul2, aku rekemen guna ubuntu atau OpenSUSE. sebab 2 linux ni antara yg dah developed dan byk support dia. update pun berlambak.

aku baru je setup server nagios, pakai redhat. 5 hari jugak aku setup dan 5 kali jugak reformat server tu hahahaha
tapi akhirnya berjaya jalan jugak dan aku dah tulis semua step untuk install termasuklah apache, mysql, php, graphviz dan sebagainya.
kalau nak step tu pm aku. |
