Mesut Oezil And Andreas Beck Called Into Germany Squad
There's no place for Lukas Podolski in the lastest German squad, but the coach has called in two new faces...
Werder Bremen midfielder Mesut Oezil and Hoffenheim full-back Andreas Beck are the two debutants selected by Joachim Loew in the 21-man squad announced today. Lukas Podolski, however misses out.
Twenty-year-old midfielder Oezil had been at the centre of a tug-of-war between Germany and Turkey for his services, but it looks now as though Germany have their man.
