Malaysian-made “War of the Worlds: Goliath in 3D” beat out "Paranorman" and "Madagascar 3" in LA

The 3D Film Festival, which is held in Los Angeles every September, is a celebration of the 3D filmmakers and content creators from around the world.

“War of the Worlds: Goliath” had its official US premiere at the 3D Film Festival which took place through 20-22 Sept 2012. Directed by Joe Pearson, the film is a combination of CG animation and traditional hand drawn animation.

Three other movies that “War of the Worlds: Goliath” beat out in the same category were “Paranorman,” “Madagascar 3,” and “Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings.” [Source: DNA]

“War of the Worlds: Goliath” has also been selected to compete with other animation features in the L’Animat category at the International Fantastic Film Festival in Sitges, Spain.

setelah menontonnya, bagaimanakah my reaction?rebiuuu nyer? akberi 7 nota kontott di bwh
* dari segi plot...agak mendatar dan tiada plot yg memeningkn kpala
* banyak masa senyap yang tidak dimanfaatkan. Sebagai contoh, semasa awal cerita sewaktu kereta-api mengelilingi bandar Manhattan, kenapa tidak diselitkan sedikit ulasan mengenai zaman/bandar tersebut.
* Kesan khas yang kadang-kala nampak mudah. Mungkin perkara ini berlaku disebabkan adunan animasi 2D dan 3D.
* klise dan klise dan lagikk klise  i means too many coincidences  
* animasi kelihatan mcm animasi aka sunday morning cartoon, aka tipikal yg biasa kiter lihat di tv.Segalanya percubaan seakan sifat   kartun di tv
*  pelem ini dibuat, semacam hendak menunjukkan "kehandalan" ia bermain dengan cgi, suara dan warna, dengan babak2 klise serangan dan peperangan makluk asing yang penah kiter tonton dan sukai.
*terdpt babak ganas dan berdarah, walaupun kartun, serta imbauan seks yang tak sesuai untuk kanak2

It's like a sequel to the original WOTW.Yeah, after all those silly Martians died,After catching a selsemaSo, after tat, humans just sapu their toys lor.

And built their OWN awesome Goliath tripods,Like watching Robotech or Gundam,But without the complicated trippy stuff..at last...lawan robot pakai keris
