‘Rumble In The Jungle’ blighted by drug deaths!

Final night of Malaysian festival cancelled following six tragedies and arrest of dozens!

The missing aeroplane is not the only thing from Malaysia making headlines. Last Saturday, the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 in Kuala Lumpur was abruptly cancelled — after the show had gone on for two nights — following the case of six people dying from suspected drug overdoses.

The theme for this year’s festival in the Malaysian capital was “Rumble In The Jungle”. A jungle that perhaps proved too dark and dangerous after dozens were arrested for drug possession at the venue of the festival, the Bukit Jalil National Stadium Showgrounds.

Highlight acts including Eric Prydz, Knife Party, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pharrell Williams, among others, were all due to play on Day 3, but were cancelled at the last minute.
