Liverpool

Bradley Jones - 4
Perhaps didn't communicate well with Enrique for Young Boys' goal in the first half, but surely wasn't expecting his defender to nick it away from him. Got a hand on the shot, but couldn't stop it going in. Didn't have much of a chance for the second, and was well beaten on the third.

José Enrique - 3

One of the more senior defenders in the team, but showed extreme naivety in gifting the hosts a goal before half-time, taking the ball almost from Jones' hands before giving it away with the goal gaping. Found himself caught out of position too often for a defender of his experience.

Sebastián Coates - 6
Was another culprit as Liverpool gave away sloppy goals, as he rushed out of position and didn't win his tackle on the third goal, leaving gaps in behind. Made amends for it with a good header to get them level though.

Jamie Carragher - 3 Flop of the Match

Looked very off the pace, aiming a wild kick in the build up to Young Boys' equaliser. Had an earlier shout for a penalty against him turned down correctly as he muscled Farnerud off the ball. Lost out to Bobadilla badly though for the third goal, and couldn't get back to clear off the line in time.

Andre Wisdom - 7
Made a fantastic leap to nod Liverpool into the lead just before half-time, and played some nice stuff out on the right wing as well.

Nuri Sahin - 6
His passing, as you would expect, was sublime, but he could have done with someone to aim for in attack. Didn't spot the run outside him for the hosts' third goal.

Jordan Henderson - 5
Struggled to really make an impression on the game, with some sloppy passing on occasion, but got forward to support well and laid on a good assist for Shelvey's goal.

Stewart Downing - 5
Got to the byline well, and I suppose you have to credit him with an assist despite not finding a team-mate for the opener. Made some good runs in the second half and put in some dangerous crosses, but there was no-one in the box.

Suso - 6
Led the defenders on a merry dance late in the first half, but just couldn't find Pacheco with the final pass from the byline. Looked lively though.

Oussama Assaidi - 5
Looked dangerous on occasion, but was farily ineffectual and eventually replaced in the second half.

Dani Pacheco - 4
Generally looked tiday, but the lone striker role didn't quite suit him in this formation.

Substitutions

Raheem Sterling - 7
Immediately added a bit of flair to the game, taking on an opponent on the wing.

Jonjo Shelvey - 8 Top of the Match

Continued his brilliant start to the season by scoring twice in a 25-minute substitute appearance to seal the win for the Reds.

Fabio Borini - 7
Did he get a touch or didn't he? It didn't really matter, but his introduction did add a bit of weight to the Liverpool attack

Assaidi, Suso, terbaek... tapi Enrique pun off form gak... Carra patut retire dah kot...
Pacheco jarang dapat pegang bola tu terpakse turun jadik defend kurang2 dapat gak
clear ball...

ape pun Shelvey terbaek... masuk subs pun leh score 2 bijik... bagus mamat ni...
konpiden level tinggi... kalo die tak masuk sampai ke sudah la kot dok nak men crossing yang
takde sape nak sambut pun... tapi ade 2 bijik gol hasil dari corner kick... ade kemajuan

tp wa risau 1 jek..
fsg tu dh la otak bisnesman..ada can la jd cam arsenal plak nti..

lagi lagi si raheem tu..dah la 17 tahun.. elok taun depan nak sign profesional contract, kene sambar ngan RM ka.. PSG ka.. jadi macam kes paul pogba maengyu..

tp nak beli player plak susah kalu takat dok mid table nih..
tgok mcm mamat siguddsion ka apa nama aritu..
last2 dia pilih spurs..alasan spurs lebih baik..

to skang dok jd simpanan jek wa rasa..
padan muka beliau..
