baru je plan nak buat ngan anak dara kecik aku
tp mana nak beli cookie cutter yg cute2 & besar mcm ni eh?

sy pun beli je fondant readymix kat kedai yummie bangi. rasanya mana2 kedai bakerys mmg ada jual.

cuba try search baking projet by kak min, tak taulah skrang k min masih jual fondant ke tak.

ni recipie yg sy guna utk icing nya.


This is what I use:
2 eggwhites
2 lb icing sugar sifted (Not all may be used)
1 tsp lemon juice
Large bowl
Handheld mixer with hooks or kitchen mixer with paddle attachment
Cling film
Step 1:
Combine eggwhites and lemon juice in a large bowl. Add some of the sifted icing sugar to the mixture and start the mixer.

Step 2:
Keep adding icing sugar a little at a time. When the mixture looks like thick whipped cream and makes soft peaks when you push down the hooks/paddle in it, you can use it for piping.


Step 3:
When you have the soft peak icing, you start to only add 2 tbsp of icing sugar at a time because from now on the icing will get more and more stiff. When you can pull out small stif peaks the icing is ready. Cover the icing with cling film and a lid or wet cloth and store it in the fridge.

Runny icing:
If you want to make runny icing for flooding cookies or making run-outs then take some royal icing (stiff made) into a bowl and start mixing it with water, a few drops at the time. Continue this until the icing it thin and liquid. It should be smoothing out when you lift the spoon. The mixing with the water will most likely cause many air bubbles in the icing, so it is always good to cover up the icing and let it “rest” for 30 min. Then give it a slow stir and you have reduced the amount of air bubbles in your icing.

Vanilla sugar cookies:


Makes around 25-30 medium sized cookies.

(200 grams) of sugar
(OR 100 grams sugar and 100 grams of confectioners sugar)

2 large eggs.

1 tsp of vanilla.

(450 grams) of all-purpose flour, sifted.
(200 grams) of unsalted butter, diced.

Extra flour for kneading and rolling.

Step 1:
In a bowl or in the kitchen mixer with paddle attachment, mix the two types of sugar, vanilla and the egg. Add the flour and the butter and keep mixing just until the dough comes together.

Step 2:
Knead the dough lightly by hand on your flour dusted kitchen counter and wrap it well in cling film and put it in a plastic bag. Chill the dough for 2 hours.

I always roll out my dough on a sheet of parchment paper lightly dusted with flour and I set my oven to 325F (170C) when I bake cookies and place the baking tray in the middle of the oven. Depending on size I bake them from 15-20 mins. You want them to be light golden brown without being raw in the middle

sy dulu pun mmg nak blaja sgt2 buat deco cookies + resipinya. akhirnya dpt cari sendiri. skrang ni best je buat. yg best fancy2. nak order pun mcm mahal je lebih kurang rm4 gitu. buat sendiri boleh ikut selera sendiri.

Kalau nak letak lidi buluh kat cookie tu masa dia tengah panas ke atau sejuk. Sebab bila i try biskut habis pecahlah. Tension! Tension! Mungkin sebab cookie i size kecil kot. Lagipun i baru nak belajar. Mana nak dapat cookie cutter yang besar dan beraneka shape sekitar bangi dan kajang ye.....

but utk icing tu sy panaskan sikit dlm microve coz tak lalu la pulak if icingnya tak masak. if nak boleh try recipie bwh ni mmg masak dlm microve.

Royal Icing
Adapted from the Joy of Cooking
Makes about 6 tablespoons
INGREDIENTS:
1 large egg white
1 1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar, divided
DIRECTIONS:
In a microwave-safe bowl, stir egg white and 2/3 cup sifted powdered sugar until thoroughly combined. Microwave on high until the mixture reaches 160°F on an instant-read thermometer (it should not exceed 175°F), 30 to 60 seconds. If you need to take more than one temperature reading, wash the thermometer thoroughly or dip it into a mug of boiling water before taking additional readings.
Add the remaining 2/3 cup of sifted powdered sugar and beat on high speed until the icing is cool and holds stiff peaks. If the icing is not stiff enough, add more powdered sugar.
Color, if desired, with liquid or powdered food coloring (the color will intensify as the icing stands). The icing can be stored in a covered container for up to 3 days; press a piece of wax or parchment paper directly against the surface to prevent drying. The icing can be rebeaten if necessary. To pipe, use a small pastry bag fitted with a fine tip, or cut off the corner of a sealable plastic bag or the tip of a parchment paper cone.

Cookies ni memang mahal dari yang biasa sebab involves tedious work.  I memang surrender tak sanggup nak buat designer cookies ni.

I order dgn LynnHassan (myhadiah.com) for my son's birthday.  Sedap and very beautiful.  Everyone admired those cookies.  Rasa macam ginger cookies.  Sinful to eat them.

if nak cari cookies cutter yg besar(american size) sy beli kat sugarflours bangi. satu rm16... tapi mmg cute2 je cuttersnya, ada design bottle susu, dress, jumpsuit ,. tapi mmg cepat habis. ni cth dress yg sy maksudkan

Cuba check Myhadiah.com.  LynnHassan buat cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolates etc...... for wedding and hantaran.  I dah pernah try her designer/fancy cookies.  No complaints.  Memang sedap and cantik mata memandang.
