bumi bertuah ini tidak pernah kering dengan hikmahnya,
tinggal lagi manusia itu sendiri mampu atau tidak menadah hikmahnya.
Baik setuju atau tidak setuju adalah juga hikmah,
bicara atau diam adalah juga hikmah.
Sehingga tujuh pemuda tertanya;
Apa adakah seinci tanah yang tidak dituruni hujan hikmah?? Sehingga selemah-lemah manusia yang tidak upaya menadah hikmah adalah juga di dalam hikmah!
Dan kami di sini seumpama anak manja,
disusu ketika lapar,
dibuai ketika letih,
didodoi ketika mau lena.
Seumpama tunas baru berputik jangan dipatah kerana buah,
ilmu yang sedang bercambah jangan ditetak mati hanya kerana tuan itu pohon.
Marilah sama-sama membaja benih dengan hujah dan ilmu,
biar berkembang dan bercabang.
Sampaikan, nescaya tidak terkurang ilmu di dada. |
