iols sudah subscribe #janjizehan #lahzeyebipayan and here is my review. Ini dari hati iols yg tulus ikhlas:
1. Storyline
- iols rasa storyline #lahzeyebipayan nie so realistic and beautiful. Kisah tentang newlyweds yg pergi honeymoon dan dalam proses mengenali baik buruk, kelebihan kekurangan, kesukaan ketidaksukaan pasangan theyols. Traveling really helps you to know more about your partner/about someone. Jalan cerita is actually simple, takde sesak sarat dgn drama yg mengarut dan menyesakkan minda, tp byk messages about relationship, culture, patience, tolak ansur, yg blh dipelajari dari filem nie.
2. Beautiful Iran
- Iran is beautiful. Breathtakingly beautiful! Cinematography superb! (as we know, cinematography filem Bernard takkan memgecewakan)
3. Fazura as Zehan Nazleen
- One word on Faz's acting; superb! As always, she never disappoints. Faz's acting is so smooth, and she doesn't need to try too hard to deliver superb acting. Effortless. And her voice projection; wow. What can i say..iols suka gila when she speaks tak kisah la bi ke bm! Love to hear her speaking! Suara Fazzy sedap!
4. Kecantikan Fazura
- ok. Bab nie, iols is torn apart. iols taktahu mana satu lagi breathtakingly beautiful; Fazura or Iran! OMG Fazzy is super prettyyyyy as Zehan! iols selalu rasa sheols is the prettiest dalam Kisah Cinta and as Ifti Liyana but after watching #janjizehan, iols rasa sheols cantikkk sangat! The prettiest character so far!!
5. Amir Rezazadeh as Arman
- well well well, iols must say, iols tak expect Amir will impress me with his acting..sbb heols takde pengalaman berlakon..but well, he surprised me! As a newcomer, his acting is not bad! renungan mata heols bila heols pandang Zehan is like, heols sangatlah in love dengan Zehan maybe benda tu memang takleh nak control kot coz Faz is soo cantik as Zehan, so it came out naturally for him when he looks at her. That look is full of love! Like, he is in awe! Amir nie takde la tak hensem langsung.
Bila heols ikat rambut heols kemas, not bad jgk la muka heols
Overall iols bagi 5 bintang! yg mana ada kurang sikit2 di mata iols tu, iols buat tak nampak je sbb mata iols dikaburi dgn kecantikan Zehan Nazleen muahaha

seyes x sangka arman tu boleh berlakon. x ensem mcm bront tp acting best la.. boleh tahan sebagai pendatang baru. meols bajet dia kayu. kehekehek... zehan no doubt acting mmg superb . best dgr dia monologue in bm so skema . mcm cikgu bm. hahahah

iols tengok, rase mcm banyaknyaaaa scene faz ...dahla semuanya sheolls lawooo...iolls rase ni festaim tengok movie yg muke faz memanjang, dah pelakon utama pun 2 orang ni je.....hahaha

Duration 1 jam 40 minit camtu laaa...yer chuolls RM15.90 utk tengok banyak kali dlm mase 2 hari.....honest iolls cakap tak rugi kalau beli sbb faz mmg lawooo dlm tu & cinematography so lawoooo.....
I love Janji Zehan even though at times I felt like watching an extended tv commercial of tourism Iran. hahaha...fortunately, it was tastefully done.
I love the fact that both characters are flawed. They are us and we are them. Zehan as a strong-minded, dominant and even selfish and arrogant woman was perfectly potrayed by Fazura. For a first time actor, Amir was impressived as Arman who sufferred from an inferiority complex and has always let Zehan made all the decisions throughout their relationship. So, it was when he tried to impress Zehan and proved to her that he's a man's man that the conflict started. Such a clash of personalities, and that fight on their first night in iran was such a poignant scene.
I love Zehan's quirky narrations and we could hear Arman's desperate love and wish to impress his wife in almost all of his narrations. The travelling really speed up the progress of getting to know each other, I guess. The ackwardness, the lingering stares and stealing glances at each other were the perfect non-verbal cues to describe the newness of their relationship/married life. Arman's inner turmoils for not letting Zehan knew about the phone calls was on point.
I love it when Fazura spoke Persian, somehow she made it sounds really soft and romantic. I love the way Arman said Sayang, it was so cute. It's great that in a couple of scenes strangers tried to remind Arman not to romanticise things whether it's history or poems. hahaha...love that part.
Cinematography-wise, the movie was visually-stunning. The use of lighting and composition was perfect. I love the scene where Faz was talking on the phone with her mother near the Tower of Silence. That splash of colour against the somber background and a forlorn figure against a vast landscape. wow, just wow! Kudos to Malek Hue and co. I love the music too, subtle, soothing and just perfect the film.
Fazura looks radiant and undeniably beautiful in Janji Zehan. She is such a captivating actor and naturally talented, of course she nailed this character.
I wish this film was longer. Maybe i was too greedy and wanted a longer, tighter and more engaging conversations between the couple. Will their marriage last, I wonder. I love every little nuance in Janji Zehan, such a beautiful film with heavy messages. Kudos to Janji Zehan's team!
