Chelsea are without Joe Cole, but Salomon Kalou has travelled with Luiz Felipe Scolari抯 squad for Wednesday抯 Champions League group clash against CFR Cluj in Romania.

England winger Cole, who missed Saturday's 2-0 victory at Stoke, is still struggling with a hip muscle injury, but Ivory Coast forward Kalou has recovered from an ankle problem.

Scolari抯 Blues are already without Portuguese international pair of defender Ricardo Carvalho and midfielder Deco; and Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien.

Finally getting to the subject of the match, Scolari accepted that it was an uninspiring display from his men, but could understand given the limitations placed on the squad.

'[We played] not very well, not the same as the other games, but in the end I am happy with one point because Didier is out, Terry for 15 minutes played with problems, Alex played 15 minutes with problems, it's okay.

'It's difficult for us to make something more than this. One point is very well, but I know and the players know that we didn't play very well,' he reasoned, before adding that he was satisfied with the effort given on a tricky eastern European surface.

'I am happy with all of my players, they tried. We had some injuries, the pitch was normal, not bad, but some injuries came during training and during the game. Injuries come sometimes and we need to inspect this as we play.'
