Buemi handed five-place grid drop for Hungary
Following his collision with Nick Heidfeld in Germany, Sébastien Buemi will start next Sunday’s Hungarian Grand Prix five places further back from where he qualifies.
As the Renault recovered from first-lap contact with Paul di Resta, it was launched into the air after Buemi changed lines under braking for the NGK Chicane, leaving Heidfeld in the gravel trap as the Toro Rosso driver crept back to the pits with a right-rear puncture.
The penalty marks Buemi’s second of the weekend, after starting today’s race from the back of the grid due to a fuel system change which occurred after final practice. |
